This hybrid role combines the benefits of team collaboration in the office with the flexibility of remote work, promoting a healthy work/life balance. As a key member of our tight-knit team, you will be responsible for driving the overall test strategy, standards and infrastructure for a proprietary data warehouse, the cornerstone of our cutting-edge data security platform.Essential FunctionsPartner with our Product Development Tech Lead to understand the data warehouse product, current testing methodology, and test coverage.Partner with the QA Team responsible for system-level testingDefine overall test strategy and QA roadmap for our proprietary data warehouseLeverage AI tools to analyze current test coverage to assess for and mitigate gapsDefine tools, frameworks, and other test infrastructure in line with industry best practicesDesign and execute a plan for automated performance testing at scaleDefine QA workflows, triage and monitoring process across the entire dev teamCollaborate daily with other QA members and developers on the warehouse team; provide ideas, feedback and suggestions for improvement.Design and lead the team’s overall automation strategy and implementationMinimum RequirementsB.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent10+ years of experience in Quality AssuranceExperience with automated testingExperience with Linux operating systemsExperience with scripting languages (preferably Bash and Python)Strong understanding of QA methodologies, validation and verification processesExperience with various CI/CD tools, i.e GitHub/GitLab Actions, Jenkins.Proven Experience in developing, deploying and optimizing testing infrastructure.Preferred Qualifications2+ years in a leadership roleKnowledge of the internals of NoSQL databases and/or data warehousesFamiliarity with containerization tools (eg Docker)Exposure to cloud-based systems (AWS, Azure, GCP)Experience with Agile development methodologiesExperience leading or participating in calls with external customersDemonstrated problem-solving skills in analyzing issues and driving resolutionsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audienceExperience using AI-driven tools to analyze test coverage, classification and generation of test cases.The anticipated TTC range for this role is 117,315.32 – 156,524.57 – 196,448.24 CAD Annual .
