Engineer will play a key role in developing high-quality process designs for
water, wastewater, desalination, and sludge treatment facilities, ensuring
compliance with contractual requirements, company standards, and local and
international regulations.

This role requires strong
technical expertise in process engineering, excellent multidisciplinary
coordination skills, and the ability to deliver design outputs within schedule,
quality requirements, and allocated engineering budgets.

The
Process Design Engineer shall be capable of carrying out process design studies
during proposal, basic engineering, and detailed design phases while supporting
project execution activities across Southeast Asia and the wider SUEZ Global
E&C organization, as required.1. Process Design
EngineeringPrepare conceptual, basic, and detailed process designs for water, wastewater, desalination, and sludge treatment projects during both Proposal and Execution phases.Develop and maintainDesign and Calculation NotesProcess Calculation ReportsProcess Flow Diagrams (PFDs)Mass BalancesPiping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)Process Control PhilosophiesProcess Design ReportsEvaluate alternative process configurations and recommend the most technically suitable and commercially competitive solutions.Review process guarantees and ensures compliance with project performance requirements.Coordinate with SUEZ Process Experts, Technical Advisors, and Subject Matter Experts as required to validate design assumptions, review critical process decisions, and ensure compliance with corporate engineering standards.2. Process and Hydraulic CalculationsPerform process calculations including:Treatment process sizingChemical consumption calculationsSludge production calculationsEquipment sizing verificationEnergy consumption assessmentsDepending on the project, the Process Design Engineer may be involved in Hydraulic Calculations such as:Network HydraulicsPressure Line Hydraulics (Pump and Line)Gravity Line HydraulicsPlant HydraulicsHydraulic Gradient LinePressure Line Hydraulics (Pump and Line)Valve HydraulicsCoordinate with process and hydraulic specialists and internal technical experts when required.3. Cost Estimation and Proposal
SupportSupport proposal development activities by:Preparing process design inputsDefining process equipment requirementsProviding sizing criteriaSupporting CAPEX and OPEX evaluationsReviewing technical specifications / Preparation of Process DatasheetsSupport in providing technical clarifications during tender stagesCoordinate with procurement, electrical, mechanical, and civil teams to ensure consistency in proposal submissions.4. Project Coordination and
Multidisciplinary Interface ManagementInterface with:Installation & Piping Engineers (P&ID)Mechanical EngineersElectrical, Instrumentation, Automation & Control EngineersCommissioning TeamsReview discipline deliverables impacted by process requirements, including:Equipment listsInstrument listsLine listsControl philosophiesEnsure process requirements are fully integrated into the overall plant design.Respond to Client, Consultant, and Owner’s Engineer comments related to submitted process engineering deliverables, ensuring timely resolution of technical queries and incorporation of approved comments into the design documentation.Coordinate with relevant SUEZ global engineering centers, technology teams, and business units to obtain process design inputs, technical guidance, lessons learned, and design validation necessary for project execution and tendering activities.5. PhaseProvide process engineering support to site HSE resources when required and assist in resolving process-related safety concerns.7. Quality Responsibilities (Proposal

Who we are looking forDegree in Chemical
Engineering, Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related
discipline.Licensed Chemical
Engineer preferred but not mandatory.Minimum 7 years
relevant experience.Process Design, Water
& Wastewater Treatment, Process Simulation, Hydraulic Calculations,
PFD/P&ID Development, HAZOP Participation, Technical Report Writing.Proven experience in
water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, desalination facilities,
sludge treatment systems, industrial water projects.
