Part of Global commodity Team managing Coupler & Gangways.
Main Missions and responsibilities for the position are:

Lead project from RFQ to Pre-seriel delivery phase

Preparing and launching Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to suppliers as per commodity strategy
Leading project from RFQ to supplier award with sound contractual & commercial negotiation considering QCDT
Lead product development activities with supplier through strong co-ordinations with internal CFT until FAI + 3 TS delivery

PO management capturing design changes / cost impacts with right bridge
Driving negotiations during tender phases (when assigned) to secure the best commitments for the company
Leading Planning & Savings reviews based on project/bid priorities
Supporting and deploying the defined commodity strategy
Managing relationships with a global panel of suppliers, including negotiations, specific agreements, and performance monitoring
Supporting projects and site buyers worldwide
Coordinating sourcing activities with local and cross-functional teams
Facilitating teamwork to efficiently resolve project- and supplier-related issues
Responsible for some of the cross functional activities on the Commodity
Monitor day to day suppliers performances and issues & mitigate proactively
Consolidation of commodity needs , inputs & building strong data base
Apply the Alstom procurement process, and provide return on experience.

 
Profile:

Business school or Engineering degree (with MASTER in purchasing is PLUS)
minimum 4 years sourcing experience as a buyer

  
Behavioural and Technical Skills / Competencies

Experience or understanding of strategic sourcing processes and supplier management
Familiarity with project management and contract negotiations
Ability to work in a multicultural environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Analytical mindset and ability to solve complex problems
Negotiations skills on price and contractual clauses
Fluent in English & international background
Willingness & curiosity to learn
